What is going on with Gov. Corzine?

For last two months, Mr. Siemaszkiewicz and editors at the TakeBackBergen have written about New Jersey State pension funds loses in the amount of $17 billion last year. They also wrote about investment of over 100 million from the state pension funds with the Lehman Brothers, an investment firm that collapsed shortly afterwards. New Jersey State investments there were simply gone. Now, we are writing about another mad idea pushed forth by Desperately Seeking Gov. Corzine, mainly his push to purchase toxic assets with … New Jersey State pension funds.

RNC CHAIRMAN STATEMENT ON NY-20 SPECIAL ELECTION

WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele released the following statement today.

"With over 5,000 absentee and military ballots still left to count, this race is far from over. We are confident that the Republican advantage in these absentee and military ballots can put Jim Tedisco over the top, and the Republican Party will do everything in its power to make sure all lawful votes are counted."

Democrat Leadership Attacks Culture in New Jersey

Desperately seeking Gov. Corzine has declared war on funding culture in New Jersey.

Apparently, there is a hotel-motel tax established in 2003, which was meant to guarantee that a portion of the tax revenue would help fund the arts. The law includes a "poison pill" provision that eliminates the tax should arts funding drop below $16 million. Desperately seeking Gov. Corzine's plan calls for $14.4 million, or $1.6 million under the law's threshold.

EU pushes male all-body shaving as response to crisis as President Obama retaliates

The European Commission proposed on Wednesday (1 April) to spend €80 million to encourage European men to purchase all-body electric shavers. The funds form a fresh stimulus move to encourage development of what the commission is calling an "innovative and green new product market."

Craig Ferguson: "Today, President Obama announced he is using his own money to redecorate the White House." Meanwhile, he "is using...taxpayers' money to redecorate the houses of AIG executives."

Officials involved with hiring of former state Sen. Coniglio as a consultant with the Hackensack University Medical Center should resign from their positions immediately.
