American Apology Tour Continues by Sarah Palin
Submitted by Editor on Tue, 05/18/2010 - 21:00On Fox News this morning, State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley became the third Obama administration official in short succession to admit that he hadn’t actually bothered to read Arizona’s 10-page long “secure the border” bill before condemning it and criticizing Americans who support Arizona’s necessary efforts to do the job the Obama Administration should be doing. Crowley’s statement follows similar admissions from Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano.
Governor Christie spoke at a town hall meeting yesterday in Hoboken
Submitted by Editor on Tue, 05/18/2010 - 20:52As you may know, Governor Christie spoke at a town hall meeting yesterday in Hoboken to kick off his push for Cap 2.5. This is the first of a series of events the Governor will be hosting as he hits the road to encourage voters to support his plan for capping property taxes in New Jersey.
During the town hall in Hoboken, Governor Christie stressed the importance of empowering mayors and highlighted his tool kit which will aid municipalities’ efforts to control spending.

AGOSTA: ASLANIAN'S COMMENTS AN INSULT TO OUR SERVICEMEN
New Jersey - In response to the outrageous claim from Gregory Aslanian calling Congressional Candidate and former Army Sergeant Michael Agosta a "career government employee," Agosta's campaign issued the following statement:
"Our soldiers don't just work for the government, they fight for the people of this country. It is because of our men and women in uniform that business owners have the opportunities that they have," said Michael Agosta. "It is an insult to our servicemen and our other service officers to say that we've done nothing to contribute to strengthening our country's economy.
"Gregory Aslanian boasts that he has risked his own capital in business, while our soldiers risk their lives to give him that freedom. If the idea of service is foreign to Gregory Aslanian, perhaps he has never served any cause other than himself."

Senator Weinberg is not a sacred cow.
Submitted by Editor on Sun, 05/16/2010 - 21:28The Record’s columnist Alfred Doblin is wrong when he defends Senator Weinberg’s voting record in his “It may be April, but the march is on” (Monday April 26, 2010.) Teachers form the New Jersey Education Association are right, Senator Weinberg together with all Democrat legislators in Trenton have betrayed the union members.
Mr. President, do your job. Secure our border by Sarah Palin
Submitted by Editor on Sun, 05/16/2010 - 17:05Let’s respect the hardworking, accomplished legal immigrants who sacrificed much, contributed selflessly, and helped build America into the greatest melting pot on earth! We need to understand the importance of America’s fair immigration laws.
Erasing U.S. borders will destroy our country as we become less safe – and this national security issue is what Arizona and other border states are addressing with reinforcement of federal immigration laws. They have to do it because the feds aren’t doing it.
Donovan writes McNerney and it is not a love letter.
Submitted by Editor on Fri, 05/14/2010 - 19:57Please note Kathe Donovan's letter to Dennis McNerney which was hand delivered this afternoon. It is in response to Mr. McNerney's latest irresponsible press release regarding "blue laws" which was posted earlier today on Politickernj.com. Ms. Donovan had refrained from responding to earlier rants but Mr. McNerney's total and reckless disregard for the truth demand that he be put on notice. Mr. McNerney is entitled to his own opinions but not entitled to make up his own facts.

VIDEO: Governor Christie Calls Liberal Reporter Moran "Thin-Skinned"
Submitted by Editor on Thu, 05/13/2010 - 21:37The antics of liberal columnist Tom Moran (and the anti-Christie curmudgeon Paul Mulshine Moonshine) are topics of regular discussion here at Save Jersey. Until now, however, no one else has had the intestinal fortitude to put them in their place except for your beloved and revered Blogger-in-Chief.
Myth Vs. Fact In The Dept. Of Children & Families Budget
Submitted by Editor on Wed, 05/12/2010 - 20:10Despite an ongoing economic crisis, Governor Christie’s proposed budget is deeply committed to the well-being of the State’s children and families.
MYTH: The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is not accessing all the federal reimbursement funding available to it.
