I have heard all Republican candidates for Bergen County Freeholders, Bergen County Sheriff, and the US Congress in District 9 at least twice. I have read their brochures and handouts. I have spoken with many of them.

What I am looking in candidates are their personal character and principles, their experience, their background, their ideas, and finally their involvement with the Republican Party in Bergen County. It is important to me personally that they were around when the political climate was unfriendly to Republicans and that they were around and willing to help when I ran for the State Assembly in District 37 in 2007 and 2009 (most of District 37 belongs to Congressional District 9.)

I am endorsing the following Republican candidates for Bergen County Freeholder (in alphabetical order):

Raymond Herr (Bogota)

Ken Tyburczy (Ramsey)

Frank Valenzuela (Rochelle Park)

I know all these candidates personally.

I am endorsing Michael Saudino for Bergen County Sheriff.

I am not endorsing any candidate for the US Congress in District 9.

My personal opinion is that no Republican candidate in District 9 is able to defeat Congressman Rothman.
